Delaware County welcomes new Magisterial District Judges

Six magisterial district judges take oath of office

RELEASE – Two new magisterial district judges and four returning district judges took the Oath of Office administered by President Judge Chad F. Kenney Tuesday, Jan. 7, in The Honorable John V. Diggins Ceremonial Courtroom at the historic Delaware County Courthouse.

After the Induction Ceremony, Deborah A. Krull was sworn in as the magisterial district judge for the boroughs of Media and Swarthmore and Nether Providence Township.

Gregory J. Loftus took the Oath of Office to serve in Collingdale.

Re-elected magisterial district judges who took the oath of office for another six-year term are Judge Dawn L. Vann for Chester, Judge Leonard V. Tenaglia for the boroughs of Colwyn, Darby and Sharon Hill, Judge Walter “Sonny” Strohl for Chester Heights, Edgmont and Middletown, and Judge Kelly A. Micozzie-Aguirre for Upper Darby.
