Media To Host 34th Annual Food and Craft Festival As Well As Poetry Event
RELEASE – On Sunday, October 5th, Media will host two exciting annual events, the 34th Annual Food and Craft Festival and the 27th Annual Mad Poets Poetry Festival.
The Food and Craft Festival is a day-long event which will feature food from 40 area restaurants and a variety of crafts from 75 vendors. As a complement to the festival offerings, Media merchants will be open for business as well. Festival hours are from 9am – 5pm.
If needed, the rain date will be October 12th.
Live music will be featured throughout the festival, and there will be children’s area on Veteran’s Square with a giant slide and other incredible bounce games.
This event is sponsored by Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union, Riddle Hospital, Crozer-Keystone, Republic Bank, Dougherty & Conrad Insurance, Main Line Today, and the Media Business Authority.
In conjunction with the Food and Craft Festival, Media will also host the 27th Annual Mad Poets Poetry Festival.
One of the longest running arts events in Media, the festival will feature 40 locally and nationally known poets reading original works, as well as music by area performers.
The poetry festival will be held in the Mansion Parlor at the Media Borough Hall (3rd and Jackson Streets, Media) from noon until 5pm.
