Media Borough Public Hearing August 18th, 2011: Liquor License for Spasso’s

Media Borough held a public hearing regarding the issuance of a liquor license from outside of Media Borough to Claudio Sandolo, the new owner of 1 West State Street. Eric Stein and Peter Williamson were absent from the public hearing.

The liquor license would be transferred from Chester.

The public hearing was a requirement before making a resolution on allowing the permit.

During the public comment period, no members of the public spoke at all. President Pete Alyanakian requested representatives from Spasso’s to speak about the permit. The attorney for Spasso’s Inc. made a brief statement, stating that they would work with the borough regarding restrictions on the license.

The public hearing ended after 5 minutes.
