Chester-Ridley-Crum Watersheds Association and the Friends of Ridley Creek State Park will host an All About Bats program on Wednesday, October 19 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m at Ridley Creek State Park in the Ballroom of the Mansion.

Brenda Malinics, a Certified Bat Manager and 25-year advocate for bat preservation, will give the presentation. Topics will include; bats around the world, bats in PA, the importance of bats, the plight of bats, as well as practical tips about bats such as how to handle a bat in your house, what to do with an injured bat, and how to build a bat house. The presentation will be supplemented by exciting props which Brenda has acquired over the course of her passion for bat conservancy.
