Fish Commission Biologist to Speak at the Old Mill on March 25

PRESS RELEASEMedia, PA – The public is invited to learn about “The State of Fisheries in Southeastern Pennsylvania” from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission at the Spring Meeting of the Chester-Ridley-Crum Watersheds Association (CRC) to be held on Sunday, March 25.

The featured speaker will be Fish Commission Regional Habitat Biologist John Buzzar. His talk will address trends and projects in the Delaware River drainage area and specifically Chester, Ridley, Crum, Valley Creek, and Darby Creek watersheds. The meeting will begin at 2:00 pm and conclude around 3:30 pm. It will be held at the historic Old Mill which is located at 9 Mill Lane, Rose Valley, PA (across from the Hedgerow Theater in Rose Valley). The meeting is free.

Please come a little early (from 1:30 pm on) to enjoy a variety of refreshments and meet others in the “social hour.” Attendees are invited to enjoy a self-guided walk on the scenic trail along Ridley Creek in the Saul Wildlife Sanctuary following the program.
