Media Welcome Home Parade this Saturday, April 28th at 3:00 PM

Media, PA will be hosting a Welcome Home parade for Veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars this Saturday April 28th at 3:00 PM on State Street and ending with a flag passing ceremony in front of the courthouse.
The day will include additional events for veterans, including:
- 12PM-5PM – Outreach & Career Awareness Fair
- 2:15PM-3PM – Entertainment on State Street – Naval Academy Ceremonial Band
- 3PM – Parade, Flag Passing Ceremony to follow in front of the Courthouse
The event will be broadcast live on 1210 AM on the Dom Giordano Show. The parade will be rain or shine.
The event provides resources both for honoring veterans who served our country and giving them the recognition they deserve, as well as providing access to resources for veterans coming home to find jobs within our community. Liaisons will be on hand from the offices of Senator Casey, Senator Toomey, Congressman Brady, Congressman Meehan, and Senator Pileggi.
