Trick or Treating is on this evening in Media

Media Borough posted an announcement on their website indicating that Trick or Treating is on for this evening. Some parents in Media are concerned with children’s safety trick or treating so quickly after Hurricane Sandy.

However, the Media Police and Media Public Works department were consulted and determined that any danger from dangling limbs or other issues related to Hurricane Sandy were minimized by staffers yesterday after the storm. They felt that they had cleaned up all dangerous limbs and cleaned up sidewalks and other debris from the storm, and postponing Halloween was unnecessary.
