Media resident serving Maine Conservation Corps

RELEASE – The Maine Conservation Corps (MCC) recently welcomed Janet Gorman of Media, PA to serve as an environmental educator and AmeriCorps volunteer at the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge in Wells, Maine. The MCC places AmeriCorps volunteers throughout Maine to complete conservation and environmental education projects. Gorman is the daughter of William and Elizabeth Gorman, also of Media. She is a 2008 graduate of Penncrest High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she studied Environmental Studies and Forestry.
