Health Insurance Marketplace opening October 1st

Beginning October 1, 2013, a new Health Insurance Marketplace will open in every state, giving Media Businesses, Media residents, and all Americans a new way to shop for health insurance.

Every American will be able to begin the process of obtaining affordable, quality health insurance. Individuals will not be the only ones to benefit; employers with less than 50 employees, including small cities, will also be able to take advantage of their state’s Small Business Health Insurance Options Program (SHOP).

SHOP will give small employers and their employees some of the advantages large employers have today, including choices among high quality health plans to meet every budget.

The country will be divided into various regions, as shown by the attached map. In Media, Pennsylvania, we’re in Region 3. Our Regional Director is Joanne Grossi, whose contact information is as follows:
