14th Annual Blues Stroll Comes To Media on Saturday, June 14th

RELEASE – On Saturday, June 14th, the Media Business Authority will present the 14th Annual State Street Blues Stroll.
Media restaurants, bars, and other businesses will host some of the region’s best musical acts for this XPN WELCOMES Event. Jonny Meister, host of WXPN’s “The Blues Show,” will be featured as the Guest Emcee.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on June 14th. Tickets are now available at participating venues, by phone at 610-566-5039, or online at statestreetblues.com.

This year’s Blues Stroll lineup features an amazing variety of talented acts, including Alligator Records Artists and Multiple Blues Music Awards Winners The Holmes Brothers. This festival is a CD Release Celebration for their brand new release Brotherhood which was called “Timeless, deeply soulful and uplifting gospel-drenched blues, street corner doo-wop, ballads, R&B, country and funk,” by the New York Times. Their 2010 release Feed My Soul was hailed as “Glorious, rootsy R&B, gospel, blues and country. Full of soul and surprises.” by USAToday.
