RELEASE – On Saturday, November 15, Media will host its 12th Annual Jazz By Night Celebration.  World-renowned musicians and top local acts will showcase their talent at indoor venues throughout Media from 6pm – 1am.

This year’s festival honors Monnette Sudler, a Philadelphia-born jazz musician, composer, and poet.  Ms. Sudler, whose primary instrument is the guitar, has had a thriving and notable career for over 30 years.

Jazz By Night has garnered critical acclaim for the quality of its programming.  World-renowned Jazz saxophonist Odean Pope has said of the festival, “It reminds me of New Orleans or festivals in Europe… Media does agreat job to get the music out there and educate the people. It’s great to see the young people out… carrying on the music.”  Philadelphia’s premier jazz radio station, WRTI 90.1 FM, is co-sponsoring this event.

Jazz By Night is a popular event, so make a reservation now at your favorite Media restaurant!  In those venues listed as “Reservations Requested,” the music will take place during dinner hours.  At all other venues, make reservations for dinner “Before the Show.”
