Statewide, the races have been called as final:
- Pat Toomey (R) won the U.S. Senate seat with 51% of the vote (99% reporting), winning by a mere 74,000 votes!
- Tom Corbett (R) won Governor with 54.5 % of the vote
- Pat Meehan (R) won PA-7 with 56% of the vote
- Tom Killion (R) won State PA-168 with 61% of the vote
So, despite the Democratic leaning of Media demonstrated in the votes, the statewide and countywide races were all won by Republicans.

I think a salient point would be that OVERWHELMINGLY Media citizens voted for by representation by the DEMOCRATIC Party.
Just like they did for Council.
