Media Elementary “Probably” Closed for School Year 2012-2013

Based on an announcement made over the Global Connect notification system used by the Rose-Tree Media school district, Media Elementary School may be closed next school year for repairs to the “structure of the building.”
In all probability, we will not be permitted to return to our building in September. I repeat, in all probability, we will not be permitted to return to our building in September. We are currently examining all options and will invite and welcome your input in the decision making process.
Parents received a similar call in the past month when the structural issue was discovered, and were notified of the actions taken by the school to protect the safety of the students.
